Over the years, The Ames Foundation has been involved in numerous additional projects. A partial list includes:
- Welcome to Ames Sign and Time Capsule
- Veterans Memorial
- Dog Park
- Crescendo
- Bandshell Park
- General landscaping in Ames parks
- Providing accessible drinking fountains in city parks
- Funding new location signs in the city cemetery
- Support for the Southeast Ames Entryway project
- Assistance in the acquisition of the Ann Munn Heritage Woods
- Support for the relocation of Ames' first school, Hoggatt School, from private property to the Meeker Elementary School grounds
