The Ames Foundation Contributes Second Installment to the Ames Public Library Renewal Project

Members of the The Ames Foundation board presented Ames Public Library director Lynne Carey with the second installment of their $10,000 (total), three-year pledge to the renewal project.

Deuces Wild! Event Tickets Now on Sale!

Back by popular demand, Minneapolis-based Dueces Wild! Dueling Pianos will return to Ames on Friday, November 1 for our annual fundraising event.  The electrifying show promises something for everyone, ages 18-80, and tickets are now on sale at two area businesses.

The Ames Foundation Presents $2,500 Check to Main Street Cultural District

The Ames Foundation board presented the Main Street Cultural District with a check in the amount of $2,500 for 2013 beautification efforts.

Deuces Wild! Event Sponsorships Now Available

Individual and business sponsorships are now being secured for the November 1 Deuces Wild! Dueling Pianos Fundraising Event.  Benefits include recognition in all event publications as well as at the event itself.  A specific number of event tickets are also included at each level, and reserved seating is valuable component of three of the five sponsor packages.

$2,500 Committed to Main Street Beautification

The Ames Foundation board approved a $2,500 contribution toward 2013 beautification efforts in the Main Street Cultural District.

The Ames Foundation board today approved its slate of officers for the coming year.

Sheila Lundt Welcomed as New Board Member

The Ames Foundation welcomed Sheila Lundt to the board as of January 1, 2013.  Retired in 2012 after a 25+ year career with the City of Ames, most recently as assistant city manager, Lundt will serve a three-year term.
